Winter Music Series at the Apalachicola Margaret Key Public Library

Bernard Simmons is a born and bred Apalachicola blues musician.  He is the leader of the local band, The Apalachicola Blues Authority.  In his music you will hear the sounds of the Delta, southern soul, smooth jazz and a hint of Motown. In the Library’s listening room setting Bernard will be accompanied by Mike Anttila, an international recording saxophonist. Mike’s genre is smooth jazz, soul, classical and of course the blues.  Together these two stellar musicians will create an evening of satisfying soulful entertainment.

The Library’s music series is provided free to the public and made possible by PALS, the Friends of the Library with the financial support of the 2022 Porchfest Committee.  Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
