Fishy Fashion Show

Artist Joan Matey presents the Fishy Fashion Show SATURDAY. APRIL 5 from 2:00 – 3:15 PM at C-Quarters Marina, 501 St. James Avenue (HWY 98) in Carrabelle.

Watch the clever fashion show full of creative costumes made from flotsam and jetsam and humor, Get an closer look at the fun fashions fabricated from shoreline cast-offs. Plus an additional inside scoop – Hear the artist’s inspiration and creative process in making these unique and incredibly intricate costumes for the quirky, colorful characters from discarded ship sails, beach umbrellas, oyster sacks, sea nets, sponges and washed up debris. Joan has been providing Nautical Nonsense since 2006. Questions are welcome in this informal indoor setting.

There is limited seating. TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR – ADULT $10 / CHILD (6-16) $5. CASH ONLY

Tickets will also be available (CASH ONLY) from the roaming costumed Fishy Fashion Characters during the CARRABELLE CULTURE CRAWL along Marine Street in Carrabelle on SAT. MAR. 22 from 10 til 3PM.
