Bowery Station Music Schedule (Oct 25 – 29)

October 25, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - October 29, 2017 @ 9:00 pm

Greetings from the Bowery live music lovers….check out this week’s lineup of the best in our BS favorites…..

Wednesday, Oct 25 – BS Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi rolls from 6-8ish. This weekly event has been a mainstay in local entertainment for years, and has fostered the development of numerous performers as they gain their confidence and stage presence. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated. As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, during the month of October we will be supporting local Larry McIntosh for sponsorship in BikeMS, a two day ride that raises money for the National MS Society. BS helping MS. Larry will be present on some weeks to provide more information about the ride and the cause. Also, $1 from every Left Hand product sold during the month of October will go towards Larry’s ride.

Thursday, Oct 26 – Bowery Station is honored to have Belmont and Jones return to our stage from 6-8:30pm. This duo brings a show of serious old time blues like no one else can. Old time blues, with home made instruments and resonator guitar… that kind of old time blues. The crowd tunes into this unique show anytime they step on stage, as we know their return to the BS stage will definitely contribute to our continued effort to …Make Thursdays the New Friday.

Friday, Oct 27 – Tommy Cooper starts off the day from 4-6pm with his dynamic guitar and varied set list from Otis Redding to Nate Rateliff. Tommy also can write some down to earth originals that keep the listener captivated. Then, the guys that kicked off ApalachOktoberfest 2017…The Jerry Thigpen Trio are ready to raise the roof with hard hitting blues and rock n’ roll from 7-10pm. Bring out your dancing shoes….cause it’s a Jerry Thigpen Firday night in Apalach!

Saturday, Oct 28 – Sarah Moranville, a young lady that is making a name for herself on the Gulf Coast, joins us from 2-5pm. Sarah has a sultry voice that captivates the audience and ultimately fills the house as no one can walk by the door when she’s playing. Then, someone say…Awww SH**! You got that right boys and girls…Johnny Barbato and the Lucky Doggs are ready to rock out a Saturday night in Apalachicola from 6:30-9:30pm. When the Doggs get in Bowery Station, they come to play hard… and these Floribama mainstays always want to put on a show. Expect a dose of shakin’ Shannon as icing on that cake.

Sunday, Oct 29 – So how do you wrap up a week of favorites at Bowery Station…well with Boo Radley from 6-8:30 of course. Patty and Michael are joining us for another one of their primarily original shows, laying down some of the best written songs of any act around. From tears to joy, these kids always give it their all with great vocals and intricate guitar. It’s what Sundays are made for…Boo and you!

As always….what would live music be without your support, and we at Bowery Station thank all of you that continue to support our effort to bring Apalachicola the best in fresh live music…it only gets better and better and it’s all because of you!!

Come step in a pile of BS and get a cold OCBC beer!
