The Friends of Franklin County Public Libraries is hosting its Soup, Bread & Book Sale on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Carrabelle branch of the Franklin County Public Library, 311 St. James Ave. SE. This popular sale features vintage and used books and DVDs, delicious homemade soups and freshly baked artisan breads. Books will go on sale starting at 10 am. Soups and breads will go on sale beginning at 10 am. The soups and breads sell out very fast so come early to get the best selection.
Book, soup, and bread donations are gladly accepted. Book donations may be dropped off at either branch – Eastpoint or Carrabelle. Food donations are being coordinated via a sign-up sheet at the Carrabelle library or by calling (850) 697-2366.
The Mission of the Friends is to support the Franklin County Public Libraries’ goal to provide informational, educational and cultural materials for the benefit of persons of all ages in the community. Through fundraising the Friends support many library programs: Summer Reading, Music as Another Language, Read With Me Storytime (ages 1-6), STEAM 1 (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math—ages 8-12), STEAM 2 (ages 5-7), ANIME Club (grades 5-12), Teen Book Club (grades 6-12), Computer Classes (adults), and Lego Club. Friends of Franklin County Public Libraries is a 501 (c) (3) organization that supports the Franklin County Public Libraries in Eastpoint and Carrabelle, Florida.
