We are a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the protection of the Apalachicola River and Bay. Since its founding in 1998, the Apalachicola Riverkeeper has advocated for the protection and stewardship of the Apalachicola River and Bay, its tributaries and watersheds. Our purpose remains to improve and maintain the Apalachicola’s environmental health and productivity, and to preserve the natural, scenic, recreational, and commercial fishing character of these waterways.
