Historical Speaker Kent Thompson

Historian and prolific author J. Kent Thompson will speak at the Raney Carriage House on May 20 at 4PM. This is the third of the Apalachicola Area Historical Society’s spring Speaker Series. March featured Winston Chester, and April offered David Fowler. Both have been excellent talks.
Kent is an avid researcher of the area and his book “Remembering Florida’s Forgotten Coast” published in 2015 is only one of his many publications, including his new fiction offerings. Come join history enthusiasts to meet and greet on Sunday, May 20th this event is free to the public.
