The Carrabelle History Museum is presenting a special exhibit about innovations and adaptations that impacted life in Carrabelle over the years. This exhibit will be on display from Wednesday, October 4 through Sunday, October 29. There is no charge for admission, but donations are gladly accepted. The museum and exhibit are open Wednesdays 12-5 pm, Thursdays through Saturdays 10 am-5 pm and Sundays 12-5 pm.
This exhibit will explore innovations, inventions and adaptations that impacted life in Carrabelle
in small and large ways. Through time the people who lived here have taken existing things to
make them work better or repurposed them for an entirely new use. This display will highlight
rebuilt tools for turpentining, changes in fishing net design, and improvements in early building
construction.
