The program teaches parents, caregivers, teachers, middle school and high school students the importance of reading aloud to childrens from birth through “first teachers” training sessions. Also,to bring quality books to families, the use of music to enhance childrens interest in books, to develop a mentoring program with High School students and to inspire a love for reading through these efforts and to positively impact the childerns literacy rates in Franklin County.
