Decades of trial and error in the search for the ultimate utility fishing rod have finally come to an end. After hundreds of days fishing, and speaking to clients, uncles, and salty dogs, we have finally come to answer this question. In this episode, we announce our pick for the ultimate utility fishing rod and reel, and also include a runner up.  For the rod of your dreams, we have included in this episode the Ferrari of fishing rod and reel combo.  One that was made by a living legend in the fishing rod Industry. The man, the myth, the legend, Eddie Carmin who retired from Biscayne Rod company a few years ago to serve as my deckhand…lol. I wish…I am lucky to have his friendship, and his help as my deckhand when he gets the itch to go fishing. It doesn’t suck using his fancy rods once in a while when he lets me get my grubby paws on them.
