Summer Reading Library Activities

These are great options for local and visiting families who need a break from the heat, rain, boredom, sunburns, and/or want a FREE family friendly, fun, educational activities.

SUMMER READING wraps up with team building activities for the last week of programming (July 24^th thru 28^th) at the Eastpoint and Carrabelle branches of the Franklin County Public Libraries. FREE & open to the public (no library card needed). Week 6’s theme is “Working and Playing Together” and is full of Working and Playing Together Programs: Arts, Crafts, Stories and Games.

• July 24^th– Tie Dye Event 2:00 PM @ both branches – For ages 8 and up 
• July 25^th– Sidewalk Chalk Art 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. – Show off your art skills and help us decorate our sidewalk. Spaces are first come, first serve. All ages.
• July 26^th– “A Sky Full of Stories” with Florida Public Archaeology Network  11:00 AM @ Eastpoint, 2:00 PM @ Carrabelle – Across every culture and time period, people have always seen stories in the stars!  

• July 27^th– Story Time 11:00 AM @ Eastpoint – Reading “Unstoppable” by Adam Rex and illustrated by Laura Park.
• July 27^th– Game Party 3:00 – 5:00 PM @ Carrabelle – Join us for tabletop and yard games.
• July 28^th– Story Time 11:00 AM @ Carrabelle – Reading “Unstoppable” by Adam Rex and illustrated by Laura Park.
• July 28^th– Game Party 3:00 – 5:00 PM @ Eastpoint – Join us for tabletop and yard games.
