Sumi-e Painting Workshop

SUMI-E is Japanese for ink “Sumi” and painting “e”

The philosophy of Sumi-e is contrast and harmony – expressing simple beauty and elegance

Sumi-e – The Second Gentleman – Wild Orchid.

Learning the fine art of mastering the brush to create the subtle strokes required in Sumi-e

There will be a brief review of the First Gentleman – Bamboo

And an overview of Sumi-e and the Four Gentlemen.

All participants will leave with at least one completed piece of work.

Lunch: Noon – 1:00 pm (Advised to bring lunch)

Class: $95 – All supplies included

Please bring any Asian Art Supplies you may have such as Brushes, paper, ink or paints.
