Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce
Business and travel information for Apalachicola, St. George Island and Eastpoint Florida
The Franklin County Public Libraries is inviting children and families to join them for two Holiday Safaris with Animal Tales on Wednesday, December 21 at 11:00 am at the Eastpoint Branch Library or at 2:00 pm at the Carrabelle Branch Library. The Eastpoint Branch Library is located at 160 Hickory Dip Rd. The Carrabelle Branch Library is located at 311 St. James Avenue.
The Holiday Safari program features animal ambassadors for a truly unique experience! Guests can get up close and personal with animals from all over the world! Participants will select a present from beneath a small Christmas tree containing a clue which corresponds to one of the surprise guest animals. All will have an opportunity to get “hands-on” during this special program! Every single show is unique because the animals (unlike the presenters) don’t have a script! Guests are sure to meet some wild animals. Animal Tales provides safe educational and entertaining programs for all ages.
These family friendly programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries and are free of charge. They are open to the public of all ages. (A library card is not needed to attend.) For more information, call Eastpoint at (850) 670-8151 or Carrabelle at (850) 697-2366
